Special Summer Announcement
We are very pleased to have just ended a very successful 2009-2010 school year. We are even more excited about the possibilities for the 2010-2011 school year. Throughout the summer the staff will be at the school preparing for this upcoming school year. If you need to reach us, our summer office hours are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Other times are available by appointment. Welcome To Our School
From all of us to all of you thank you for visiting our website. The Bradford Area Christian Academy (BACA) is a non-denominational Christian school located in downtown Bradford, PA. We have been serving the local community for just over 25 years. During the past two years the Lord has blessed the school abundantly, and we are in the midsts of a significant expansion.
During these last two years, enrollment has doubled, both a 6th and 7th grade have been added, our Before and After Care programs have quadrupled, our technology program has been significantly upgraded including SmartBoards being added to all core classrooms, major investments in new books and resource materials have been achieved, our Children's Scholarship Fund, which provides tuition assistance through the support of local businesses, has tripled despite the economic downturn, we have partnered with another school and added a band program, and have been blessed in so many other ways. Praise the Lord, and a big thank you to everyone who helped to make this all possible.
Of course, we are not finished, and have many more plans for the future. For the 2010-2011 school year we plan on adding an 8th grade which would complete our middle school program, creating a specific age 3 classroom, and an age 4 classroom, making significant upgrades to our technology program including adding a "floating" laptop computer lab. Beyond next year, we have plans to enter a cooperative sports program agreement for our 7th and 8th graders so they can access these programs in the local school district. We are also looking into adding a high school program, but this is only in the very beginning planning stages. And, we have numerous other programs that we are investigating, and will implement when we are in a position to do so.
Please take your time reviewing this website. We continue to add to it on a weekly basis so be sure to stop back regularly. If you have any questions, please just contact the school. |
